From Aid to Trade Project (FA2T) is implemented through three local community-based organizations (CBO) in Abossi, Lemek and Mulot, in Narok County, Kenya. The Project is supported by Kupanda2grow Foundation a non-governmental organization registered in The Netherlands. The aim of the project is to transform vulnerable medium and small-scale farmers in the remote rural areas of Narok county to be self-reliant by being innovative, business oriented and embracing sustainable modern farming practices that will contribute to poverty reduction, improved food security, equity and eventually a better life. Kupanda2Grow works with about 350 farmers in Abossi, 276 farmers in Lemek and 400 farmers in Mulot.

The aim of the project it to improve household incomes through increased productivity and profitability in their agricultural activities hence a better life. The project was started as an inspiration of renewed form of missionary work done by Brother Henri MHM and a team of dedicated religious, lay missionaries and local leaders. The team dedicated itself to neighbourhood outreach activities to address social and community development issues with an aim of empowering the vulnerable local people in coping with social life and economic challenges. During his work in Narok, he coordinated the construction of schools, churches, hospitals, roads, water reservoirs etc. This idea later developed into a multi-dimensional and integrated community development projects and activities addressing education, health, sanitation, and agriculture among others. Unfortunately, Br. Henri was diagnosed with a brain-tumour and had to return to The Netherland where he died in 2011. In 2020, through the department of Agriculture of the Catholic Diocese of Ngong, Henk was invited to Kenya to build on the good work left by Br. Henri, this gave birth to K2G.
